The government is currently trying to reduce the impact of climate change by inviting the academic community to play a role. In line with the efforts of the City of Balikpapan with the Eco-Office/Eco- Campus Program. Balikpapan University is an educational institution that supports the Eco-Campus program organized by the DLH Balikpapan City as an effort to reduce the impact of climate change. From this background, this research aims to reduce the impact of climate change, which is centered in the University of Balikpapan (UNIBA). This effort is carried out for efforts to reduce the impact of climate change and increase the comfort of the academic community. This research was carried out on the campus of the University of Balikpapan and was carried out according to the indicators provided by the DLH Balikpapan City including: greening the environment, waste management, energy saving, and clean water and waste water management. From the results carried out in an effort to reforest the environment, it is carried out by adding the typical plant species of Kalimantan and Plant’s pot. In an effort to manage waste, it is carried out by making biopore holes, composting, eco-enzymes, and circular latter limiting plastic and paper. In an effort to save energy, it is carried out by attaching appeal stickers, and using LED lights. Efforts to manage clean water and waste water are carried out by making rainwater reservoirs and making rainwater electrolysis. However, from the results of the use of water and electricity in the last 3 months, there is still an increase due to face-to-face lectures.
